I have been growing herbs in Florida for over 35 years. I enjoy
passing
that
knowledge on to others and over the past 18 years I have
been giving classes
and lecturing on growing and using herbs in our
unique Florida climate.
All presentations are held at The Herb Garden. There is a fee for classes,
however Garden Clubs are invited to come out at no charge, and are
welcome
to browse through the greenhouse.

Give your soil a fresh makeover with some added compost and fertilizer as we soon begin the hot summer days. Water deeply when you water in order to force the roots a little deeper and keep them protected from the hot summer sun. Drip hoses work fine for this and also are good to conserve water and minimize evaporation.
